Be as creative with your character name and character background as you want. We welcome characters roleplayed in unique ways! Just bear in mind at all times, please, that Cardea is a medieval/gothic high-fantasy game. Please choose a suitable name and roleplay your character appropriately. For more information on the concept of Cardea, click here.
Can't think of a name? Try our random name generator! If the name you've picked is already registered, you will be prompted for the password and notified of an incorrect entry. If this happens, generate another name and try again!
Notice:
Cardea is targetted for an adult audience. It is recommended that players under the age of 18 years enter Cardea with parental consent. Cardea at times features bloody and graphic descriptions & images, violence, and on rare occasion, foul language (though it is not game policy to permit the use of foul language, the actions of Cardea's players cannot be policed at all times).
In Cardea, we collect registration information on all players. If you do not register your character, it will be deleted from our database after a period of time. If you are under the age of 13, you must have parental consent to register your personal details in Cardea. You may contact Tarkun (game creator) regarding this matter at Tarkun@cardea-rpg.com. Note that this registration information is not made available to anyone but the game administration, and will never be divulged to third parties.

Please note that if you are an existing player or have otherwise logged into Cardea and enabled ANSI colour for that character, you may experience strings of odd-looking symbols in the java client window. This is due to the fact that the client does not handle ANSI code, and thus appears to you, the user, as raw code instead of proper colours. This is easily remedied by typing ANSI OFF.
