Cardea's Policy on Multiplaying & Second Characters

In many circumstances, it can be tempting to operate more than one character in Cardea, and for a wide variety of reasons such has been done in the past.

However, the potential abuses that can arise from such 'multiplaying' have brought us to the point where firm, fixed rules need to be implemented.

Therefore, you should read the following notes carefully before attempting to use a second character.

Breaking these rules may lead to the deletion of ALL your personae! If you have any questions about the proper use of a second character, feel free to e-mail your queries to Support@cardea-rpg.com.

1. Non-Members, and basic members, are only permitted to own and operate a single persona. If you want to start a new persona, then you are free to do so, but you should abandon your previous one.

2. Bronze, Silver and Gold members are permitted further Personae. Bronze are permitted one, silver may have two, and gold three.

3. All additional personas MUST have basic membership, and must be registered under the same OOC details as the primary persona. All registration info must be accurate and complete.

4. You are not permitted to transfer goods, equipment, gold XP, lessons or any other property between your personae.

5. You are strongly advised not to transfer knowledge and information between your personae. We understand that this can prove difficult and mistakes can happen, but it is the hallmark of a good roleplayer to manage seperate personalities effectively.

6. Deliberate passing of 'insider' information via an alternate or second persona is considered to be cheating, and will be punished accordingly. This includes information passed to other players.

7. NO PLAYER may have more than one persona logged into the game at any time.

It is the opinion of Cardea Administration that using a second persona to gain an advantage in play is the sign of a weak, pathetic cheat who has difficulty with the concept of Roleplaying. We advise such players to seek alternative forms of entertainment.
